Billy always had an interest in finance and accounting. The study came naturally to him as he thoroughly enjoys the organization of numbers and finance. In 2003, Billy received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, with an emphasis in Financial Planning, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Not only is he a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor’s society, he graduated cum laude. Billy then worked for several years in the private sector, starting as a general accountant; within six months, he had moved up to the position of assistant controller. In less than a year, he took a position as Controller with the largest siding and windows company in Arkansas. At Hargis and Stevens, Billy has eagerly entered the field of financial planning, his true interest and the focus of his education.
